So my cab driver arrived and he was really COOL and he asked me where I wanted to go and then I stated the Highland Village Mall!!!!!! He was like are you SURRRREE U WANNA GO THERE Like it was some kind of Scary Movie or something. There used to be Paciugo gelato cafe (now closed), Tom Thumb grocery (closed too) Now it seems the only place a regular person can afford to spend money on are Starbucks, Mi Cocina, Movie theater (I am afraid they will close them too and replace with some kind of luxury cafes, so it is a way to force peasants like us stay away from their rich property) :pĤ. well we didn't wear expensive clothes but we were not hobos.ģ. But shopkeepers didn't even greet us, look at us.
I observed how shopkeepers completely ignored us when I and friends were there, we went to a shop named Berretta Gallery (outdoor shop) because my friend wanted to buy hunting gear. It is such an interesting experience to see the awkward look on other shoppers when our old Honda parks between their Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche. It's a nice area and so close to where I live and work, only 10 minutes drive, even though I am not the one who owns a mansion at Highland Park.Ģ. The reasons why I like to come here occasionally are because:ġ.

Yes, this is the place where Dallas billionaires shop. Oh, FYI, the highest price sold for a Hermes bag in an auction is $250,000 and the buyer is from Dallas. Hermes, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Dior, Louboutin you name it. If you can afford luxury items, or are a social climber who buys luxury items to pretend that you are rich, or are poor who buys luxury items just to get respect, this shopping place might be for you.
